September 1 to 22: Genshin Impact 7.0's second phase runs Flins and Ineffa on one shared pity count

18:00 on September 1, 2026. That is when all three second-phase wishes of Genshin Impact Version 7.0 opened, and 14:59 on September 22 is when they close. The times are printed exactly as the notice gives them. As of September 3, 2026, that leaves 19 days.

The one-line primer: Genshin Impact is HoYoverse’s free-to-play open-world action RPG, and a wish is what the game calls its gacha. You spend Primogems, earned in play or bought with money, to pull characters and weapons at random.

Two Electro five-stars, opened side by side

There are two character banners. “The Lone Light Knocks at Night” carries a boosted rate for the five-star Flins (Electro); “Astral Actuation” does the same for the five-star Ineffa (Electro). The notice files them as Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 respectively. The four-star rate-up is identical on both: Aino (Hydro), Iansan (Electro) and Lan Yan (Anemo). [1]

Neither five-star is new. RPG Site’s Version 7.0 launch report described the second phase as the return of Flins and Ineffa. [2] The August 27 notice never uses the word rerun; it calls them event-exclusive. [1]

That label is worth reading closely. Event-exclusive characters and this phase’s five-star weapons do not enter the standard Wanderlust Invocation pool. Once the wishes close on September 22, there is nowhere else to pull them until a future rerun.

The guarantee count spans both banners

Genshin counts how many pulls you have made toward a guaranteed five-star, and it keeps that count per wish type. This notice states that the count for Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 is shared, and accumulates between both. [1]

That removes an awkward calculation. Pulls spent on Flins are not stranded if you move to Ineffa; the number you have built up follows you. The weapon banner is not part of the arrangement, so chasing a character and a weapon in the same window means saving Primogems twice over.

Both five-star weapons are polearms

Epitome Invocation runs on the same schedule. Its boosted five-star weapons are Bloodsoaked Ruins and Fractured Halo, both polearms. The four-star lineup is The Flute (sword), Favonius Greatsword, Favonius Lance (polearm), Eye of Perception (catalyst) and The Stringless (bow). Epitomized Path applies, so you can nominate one of the two five-stars in advance. [1]

Both character wishes ship with a Test Run, which puts the characters in your hands before any Primogems leave your account. Deciding where the count should land can wait until after that. What the notice does not give is a date for the next rerun; the only fixed deadline on the page is 14:59 on September 22.
