A November 6 Switch 2 debut for Stellar Blade, with 4 free Bayonetta outfits on PS5 and PC

SHIFT UP's Stellar Blade arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 at midnight on Friday, November 6, Korean time[1]. First released for PlayStation 5 in 2024 before coming to PC, the action game is now heading to a third platform[7]. The launch also gives existing PS5 and PC owners something to check: a set of free Bayonetta outfits arriving at the same moment. This article reflects information as of November 2, 2026.

One worldwide launch, two calendar dates

The release is simultaneous worldwide. In Korea and Japan, it falls at 00:00 on November 6; in Pacific time, it is 7 a.m. on November 5, while Greenwich Mean Time puts it at 15:00 on November 5[2]. That time difference also explains why Nintendo Europe's November release list gives November 5 as the date[3]. Anyone planning to play at launch should use the time for their region.

What 69,800 won includes, and how Steam and PS5 prices compare

The Switch 2 release is Stellar Blade Complete Edition. It includes the base game and all previously released content, including the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC[1][2]. Bonuses include Stargazer outfits for Eve, Adam and Lily; Half-Rim Glasses and Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for Eve; the Planet Diving Suit (Captain); Stargazer and Fluffy Bear packs for the drone; 2,000 SP EXP; and 5,000 gold[2]. The physical edition holds all game data on the cartridge, with no game-key card or additional download required[1][2].

The recommended retail price is 69,800 won in Korea and $59.99 in the US, and the Korean age rating is GRAC 18+[2]. For comparison, Steam's Korean list prices are 62,800 won for the base game and 83,800 won for Complete Edition, while the PlayStation Store lists Standard Edition at 79,800 won and Complete Edition at 99,800 won[5][6]. Comparing the Complete Edition list prices alone puts Switch 2 lowest. Discounts are excluded from this comparison, and the press release does not establish whether the contents of the editions are identical across platforms.

Preorders offer early access to the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings. A limited-quantity SteelBook is also available to preorder[1][2].

All 4 Bayonetta outfits are free on every platform

The 4 new outfits for Eve will be free on Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC from the launch time. The September 10 reveal trailer showed 3 of them, leaving 1 unrevealed at that point[1][2]. If you already own the game on PS5 or PC, launch it after 00:00 on Friday in Korea and check for the 4 free outfits. The press release does not explain how to claim them.

If Switch 2 will be your first version, download the demo before buying. GoNintendo reports that the Switch 2 demo is already available[4]. SHIFT UP has announced Joy-Con 2 motion control support[7], but no frame-rate or resolution figures were found in the published material. Use the demo to compare the picture in handheld and TV modes before Friday's Korean midnight launch, then decide whether to spend 69,800 won on the full release.
