NIKKE's Persona crossover runs through September 10
Queen, Yukiko and Aigis join Goddess of Victory: NIKKE in the 'PERSONA ON FRONTLINE' event that opened August 13; one of the three is a free login reward.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a free-to-play shooter RPG from the Korean studio Shift Up, operated worldwide by Level Infinite, in which you command squads of android soldiers called Nikkes in a world where humanity has retreated into an underground city called the Ark. Persona is Atlus’s series of Japanese RPGs about students who fight with summoned inner selves. On August 13, 2026 the two met. A collaboration version titled “PERSONA ON FRONTLINE” went live, and as of August 22, 2026 it has a little under three weeks left, closing on September 10.
Three games, one anniversary
The crossover pulls from three Persona titles at once: Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, the modern editions of the series’ best-known entries. The occasion is the Persona series’ 30th anniversary in 2026, which is why this is a triple rather than a single-game event. The event story opens with a run of unexplained comas inside the Ark and traces of something called D-WAVE, and the investigation leads the Commander (that is you) to people who can summon Personas. Main story chapters 47 and 48 arrive with the same update, so the collaboration sits beside the regular plot rather than replacing it.
Around the story: limited-edition costumes marked with the collaboration, free costumes for players who complete all of the event’s Achievements, a new minigame called “MIDNIGHT PHANTOM RUNNER” built as a running game, and an improved Union Raid, the game’s guild-versus-boss mode.
Who is free and who is a pull
The three guest characters are handled differently, and that is the part worth reading before spending anything.
Queen, the Persona 5 Royal codename of Makoto Niijima, is an SSR-grade Nikke available from August 13 through a limited pick-up recruitment; Persona Central’s tracking lists her banner as running from August 13 to September 10. Yukiko Amagi from Persona 4 Golden is also SSR-grade and arrives through a Special Recruitment that opens on August 20. Aigis, the android from Persona 3 Reload, is SR-grade and free: she comes from a 14-day login event titled “Phantom Thieves’ Calling Card.” Log in on fourteen days before the event closes and she is yours without a single pull.
For a new reader, “recruitment” is NIKKE’s word for its gacha. You spend a currency earned through play or bought with cash for a random chance at characters, and limited collaboration characters usually do not stay after their window. That is the real deadline here: September 10 is not only the end of the event story, it is the last day Queen’s banner is listed.
If Persona is what brings you to NIKKE, the practical order is to install the game on iOS, Android or PC, clear enough of the early campaign to unlock events, collect the daily login for Aigis from the first day, and only then decide whether Queen or Yukiko is worth the currency. Whether the Persona units will ever return is not something the sources we checked address, so treat September 10 as final.
