Blue Archive's double rewards leave Bounty for Commissions on September 7

Nexon Games put the whole month into one notice on August 28. The activity paying double changes hands every Monday evening, and account EXP is split off into two weekend-only windows instead of a full week.

Where to play

As of September 3, 2026, exactly one activity in Blue Archive pays double, and that is Bounty. The window closes on Monday, September 7 at 18:59 UTC, and the next one opens a minute later with the bonus sitting on Commissions and Hard Missions instead. Nexon Games published the entire month in a single notice on August 28, so every handover between now and October 5 is already on the record. [1]

Blue Archive is a free-to-play RPG from Nexon Games. The player runs an academy city called Kivotos, builds squads out of student characters, and spends a regenerating stamina resource called AP to clear stages. AP refills on a clock, which puts a hard ceiling on how much anyone can run in a day. That is what turns a rotation schedule into a planning problem: the same AP produces a different month depending on which week it goes out.

The notice sits on the English board of Nexon's official forum under the title "September Double Rewards Campaign." The times below apply to that service, and other regional versions post schedules of their own. [1]

Five windows, each handed over on a Monday

All times are UTC, and the windows run back to back.

  • Bounty: August 31, 19:00 to September 7, 18:59
  • Commissions and Hard Missions: September 7, 19:00 to September 14, 18:59
  • Bounty: September 14, 19:00 to September 21, 18:59
  • Commissions: September 21, 19:00 to September 28, 18:59
  • Lesson and Scrimmage: September 28, 19:00 to October 5, 18:59

Read the list downward and the weighting shows. Bounty and Commissions each come around twice in September. Hard Missions get one week, the second, and Lesson and Scrimmage share only the last. Anyone sitting on a backlog of Lesson or Scrimmage material is better off holding it until September 28. Bounty is the forgiving one: miss it this week and it returns two weeks later. [1]

The notice starts with what does not double

The fine print counts the exclusions before the gains. During the Bounty, Lesson, Commissions, Scrimmage and Normal and Hard Missions campaigns, the multiplier does not touch Bounty Coins, Relationship Points, Area EXP, first-clear rewards, three-star clear rewards, or the account and combat EXP obtained from spending AP, a category that also covers character EXP and Activity Reports picked up from mission sweeps. [1]

The list is long but the principle behind it is short. What doubles is the drop table on a clear; what arrives regardless of the campaign stays flat. One line cuts the other way, though: sweep rewards are included. Clearing a stage by hand is not a condition, so a player with little time at the keyboard still gets the full benefit from sweeping. [1]

Account EXP gets two weekends and nothing more

The sixth entry on the schedule behaves differently from the other five. Account EXP doubles on weekends only, twice in September: from 19:00 on Friday, September 18 to 18:59 on Sunday, September 20, and again from 19:00 on Friday, September 25 to 18:59 on Sunday, September 27. Each run is one minute short of 48 hours. [1]

Set that against the exclusion list above and the purpose becomes clear. Account and combat EXP from AP are specifically carved out of the other five windows, which leaves these two weekends as the only stretch in September when account level climbs faster than usual. The carve-out has its own exception: Expert Permits obtained on reaching the level cap do not double either. [1]

The practical decision is which days to keep AP free. Bounty stops paying double at 18:59 UTC on September 7, Commissions and Hard Missions take over a minute afterward, and the account EXP weekends open on the evenings of September 18 and September 25. Nothing after October 5 appears in this notice, and Nexon Games has not said whether October repeats the same order or reshuffles it.
