Garena in Korea and Taiwan, Level Infinite in the US and Japan: Monster Hunter Outlanders arrives October 29
Monster Hunter Outlanders, licensed by Capcom and made by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group, launches on iOS and Android on October 29. Garena publishes it in Korea and Taiwan and Level Infinite in the US and Japan, with age ratings from 12+ to 16+.

Capcom announced on September 29 that the mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders will launch on iOS and Android on October 29. It is developed by TiMi Studio Group, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, and it is free to play with in-app purchases[1]. A version for mainland China is planned for 2027 or later[1]. Capcom says the Monster Hunter series had sold a cumulative 131 million units as of June 30, 2026[1]. This article reflects information as of October 6, 2026.
Which app you get depends on your App Store region
It is one game, but the publisher and the app change by region. On the Korean App Store, the developer listed for Monster Hunter Outlanders is Garena (Garena Online Private Ltd)[2]. Garena also publishes it on the Taiwanese App Store under the title 魔物獵人:旅人[3]. In the US and Japan, a separate app appears under the name Level Infinite[4][5]. Garena confirmed the Korean release on July 24[7] and announced the launch date in a Korean press release on September 29[6].
Age ratings differ too: 12+ on the Korean App Store, 13+ in Taiwan, and 16+ in the US and Japan[2][3][4][5]. The Korean version is 3.7 GB and supports nine languages, including Korean[2]. Pre-registration is open on the official website, Google Play and the Apple App Store[6].
Seven weapon types, with the Charge Blade on the way
The characters you play are called Adventurers. Each has its own personality and fights with weapons from the series[2]. The Korean App Store listing names seven weapon types: Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun and Bow[2]. In thank-you videos released on September 29, Capcom series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and TiMi Studio Group producer Huang Dong said the Charge Blade will be in the launch version[6]. They added that more monsters, weapon types and regions will follow[6].
You can explore the open field alone or call in friends for a four-player party. There are three Buddies: the Palico, the Rutaco and the Trillan[2][4]. The Tokyo Game Show trailer showed the game's original Elder Dragon, called Ruger Aidal in the US listing, along with Adventurers crossing between regions using crafted features such as gliding and wind vents[4][6]. Players can choose between two control modes[6].
Korean purchase items reach KRW 141,000
The Korean App Store lists two kiln-themed items at KRW 14,500 and KRW 28,000, plus bundles labeled special offers ranging from KRW 17,500 to KRW 141,000[2]. The same page marks the game as containing random boxes[2]. At the top of the US App Store list is a $4.99 subscription, and in Japan a monthly plan costs 760 yen[4][5]. No subscription appears among the items shown on the Korean page[2].
On Garena's Korean website, pre-registration rewards unlock in stages as sign-ups pass 5 million, 10 million, 15 million and 20 million. The reward list includes the Adventurer Raya, recruitment tickets and growth materials[7]. How the paid items are actually structured will be clear at launch on October 29, 23 days from now.
