If you want the 1,200 Astrite, Wuthering Waves closes its combat event on the morning of September 29

The limited-time 'Resonance Sim Realm' event opened August 22 and shuts on September 29. The official notice puts the end at 11:59 rather than 23:59, which means logging in on the last evening is too late.

Where to play

Wuthering Waves is a free open-world action RPG from the Chinese studio Kuro Games. A limited-time combat event called “Resonance Sim Realm” opened in it on August 22 at 10:00 server time, and as of September 3, 2026 it is still running. Slightly under four weeks are left.

The deadline is a morning, not a midnight

The notice gives the window as “2026-08-22 10:00 - 2026-09-29 11:59 (server time)” [1]. The digits at the end are the part to read twice. Timed events usually close at 23:59; this one is written as 11:59. Taken at face value, the event shuts on the morning of September 29.

If the plan was to clear it after class or after work on the final day, that plan is a day late. The last night anyone can actually work on it is September 28. The clock is server time as well, so it is worth checking which server the account sits on before counting hours.

What sits after “and other Materials”

These are the rewards the notice lists [1], with item names kept as the official English notice spells them.

  • Astrite x1200
  • Phantom, “Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis” x1
  • Title, “Resonance! Best Combo” x1
  • Premium Tuner x150
  • Premium Sealed Tube x20
  • Premium Resonance Potion x20
  • Premium Energy Core x20
  • Premium Enclosure Tank - Land of Xuanfang x6
  • Shell Credit x850000

The list ends with “and other Materials”, so those nine lines are a floor rather than a full accounting. Astrite is the currency spent on the game’s character recruitment, earned through play or bought with cash, which makes the 1,200 the line with a price attached to it.

What the notice leaves out is just as clear. The body is two fields and seven images, so it says nothing about how the event plays, what unlocks entry, or whether the Phantom and the title ever come back. It carries no version number either. The Version 3.6 patch notes, “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart”, went up on August 20, and no newer version notice has followed, which places this window inside 3.6 [2].

“Coming Soon” was written on August 21

The notice is titled “Event Preview | [Resonance Sim Realm] Combat Event, Coming Soon!” and was posted on August 21 at 18:00 [1]. Anyone who meets that headline through search reads it as something still ahead. The “Coming Soon” belongs to the day it was written; the event opened the next morning. The end of the window, not the start, is the near edge now.

The latest post on the official news list is dated August 29, and no notice for the next version has appeared. When one does, it will carry the date 3.6 closes. Whether that date lands before September 29 is the first thing to check in it.
