Wuthering Waves 3.6 splits its two new Resonators three weeks apart

Wuthering Waves is a free open-world action RPG from Chinese studio Kuro Games. You pull characters called Resonators, build a team, and fight on dodge and counter timing. Version 3.6, “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart”, opened August 20, 2026 (UTC+8).

The two new Resonators do not arrive together

• Qingxiao: Phase 1, from August 20. An Aero main DPS. Denia shares the phase.
• Jingran: Phase 2, from September 10. A Fusion carry who fights with a Broadblade. Hiyuki and Mornye share the phase.

The phases sit three weeks apart, so if you want both, spending everything in Phase 1 is the risky choice. When a phase closes in Wuthering Waves the banner goes with it, and reruns are not announced ahead of time.

What to weigh

Qingxiao fills an elemental DPS slot; Jingran fills a weapon-class slot. If your team already runs an Aero carry, Qingxiao drops down the list. If your Broadblade bench is thin, Jingran is the urgent one. In practice Wuthering Waves rewards weapon familiarity and dodge timing more than element charts, so picking the weapon class your hands already know tends to be the choice you regret less.
