Can you vote in Palworld's global popularity poll without an account?

Pocketpair opened the Palworld Global Popularity Poll 2026 on September 1. No account is asked for, the ballot carries 288 Pals and 16 human characters, and a submitted vote cannot be edited. Voting closes at 01:00 UTC on September 28.

Where to play

Pocketpair opened voting in the Palworld Global Popularity Poll 2026 with a Steam announcement on September 1, 2026 [1]. The announcement carries one thing, the address of a dedicated voting site, and that site asks for no sign-up and does not check whether you own the game [2]. As of September 3, 2026, voting is still open.

A game about catching creatures and putting them to work

Palworld is an open world survival and crafting game from Pocketpair. You catch creatures called Pals, take them into fights, and also set them to building, farming and factory work.

The poll arrives now because the game recently passed a marker. On July 10, 2026 Pocketpair announced that Palworld was leaving early access with version 1.0, which opened the areas the announcement calls Sunreach and The World Tree and added 72 new Pals [3]. Two days before that the studio said 40 million people had played Palworld over two and a half years [4]. The item directly above the poll in Palworld’s Steam announcement feed is v1.0.3 on August 12, a set of balance adjustments and bug fixes [5]. The poll is what arrived while the game itself was quiet.

The announcement puts it this way: with the launch of version 1.0 the roster has expanded to over 280 Pals, and every one of them, plus some in-game human characters, is on the ballot [1]. Pocketpair’s own news post the same day describes the lineup as over 280 Pals introduced from early access through v1.0, alongside key in-game NPC characters [6].

Three Pals, three characters, and no second attempt

The ballot the site actually loads holds 288 Pals and 16 human characters [2]. There are two categories. The Pal category is required and takes up to three picks; the character category is optional and also takes up to three. A separate field asks which single pick is your favorite, and the confirmation step attaches a survey covering gender, age, total Palworld playtime and the reason behind your choices [2].

One of the playtime options is “haven’t played yet” [2]. Votes from people who have never installed the game were part of the design from the start.

What you get is one pass at it. The site states that each person may vote once, and returning in the same browser produces a notice that a vote has already been cast. The screen code contains a revoke function, but it is switched off in this campaign’s settings, so the warning in the confirmation dialog holds: the content cannot be changed after submission [2].

The interface runs in 17 languages. Pal names appear in whichever one you pick, so Lamball, the Pal the English announcement names, reads as モコロン in Japanese and 도로롱 in Korean. If working through 288 entries is too much, the list narrows by element, by work suitability, and by whether a Pal was introduced in early access or in 1.0 [2].

Voting closes at 01:00 UTC on September 28

Neither the Steam announcement nor Pocketpair’s news post states the voting period [1][6]. The dates come from the voting site itself, whose published campaign record opens voting at 06:00 UTC on September 1 and closes it at 01:00 UTC on September 28. In Korea and Japan that is 3 p.m. on September 1 to 10 a.m. on September 28; China and Taiwan are an hour earlier on both ends [2]. That leaves 25 days to go.

Rankings stay hidden while voting runs. The site says it will not show standings during the voting period and will announce results after voting closes and the votes are verified [2].

So the task is short: open a browser, pick three, send once. What remains is when the results land, and no announcement gives a date. The results page address in the campaign record is still empty [2].
