소개

Lay of the Land is an ambitious voxel-based sandbox adventure where every element is physically simulated. Set in a beautiful yet dangerous fantasy world, players must leverage fully destructible environments, dynamic elements like spreading fire and flowing water, and physical crafting to survive and thrive. Build castles, farm crops, uncover procedural mysteries, and battle monstrous foes in this highly reactive open world.

스토리

While there is no rigid narrative, the world itself tells a story through procedurally generated structures like overgrown ruins, ancient observatories, and twisted castles hiding mysterious treasures. Players forge their own path as they explore diverse biomes—from treacherous ice caves to perilous snowy mountains—uncovering hidden artifacts and ancient magic runes.

Gameplay

Gameplay revolves around a deeply physical interaction system, where crafting is done by tossing materials directly onto the ground to assemble them rather than clicking through UI menus. Combat offers a mix of melee, archery, and rune-based magic, while a unique hunger system rewards hunting instead of punishing starvation. Every hazard—from collapsing terrain to spreading fire—can be weaponized against enemies or overcome through creative building.
