One year following the events of the first game, Ghostrunner 2 plunges players into a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world teetering on the brink of chaos. Dharma Tower, once humanity's last refuge, is now a battleground, fractured by warring factions vying for control. Jack, reactivated after defeating the Architect, finds himself aligned with the Climbers, a rebel group striving to establish order amidst the turmoil. But a new threat looms: a violent AI cult led by the enigmatic Ahriman, a fellow Ghostrunner with a sinister agenda. The world outside Dharma Tower is no longer a mystery, and Jack is called upon to deal with the cybernetic threats that dwell among the ruins. Ghostrunner 2 takes us through Dharma Tower, introducing us to the groups and lives within the tower walls. But, what lies without is the true test for Jack as he traverses the wastes to save the Tower he has vowed to protect.
