About

THYSIASTERY is a turn-based dungeon crawler roguelike RPG where players command a party of Brand bearers trapped in a vast, enigmatic Labyrinth. Blending classic procedural generation with deep strategic combat, the game introduces a highly innovative skill-teaching system. This unique mechanic allows party members to pass their learned abilities to new recruits, effectively mitigating the harsh sting of permadeath.

Story

Summoned by the enigmatic Brand, your party is drawn into a hungering, multi-layered Labyrinth filled with buried forests, underwater cities, and ancient artifacts. You must navigate this bleak, dark world of bizarre natives and fantasy violence to uncover its secrets and find a way out—or succumb to the encroaching madness.

Gameplay

Engage in highly lethal turn-based combat relying on a stats-weighted turn order and the clever exploitation of elemental weaknesses and resistances. Through a classless skill inheritance system, your party members can teach their learned abilities to newly enslaved or chained allies, allowing for incredibly flexible and wild builds like an all-healing party or pure elemental specialists.

💡 Did You Know?

Players can change the game's entire aesthetic instantly via 12 swappable color palettes.

The skill system allows for 'catastrophic' over-specialization, like an all-lightning party that accidentally heals lightning-resistant foes.

Despite its deep procedural systems, the entire game requires only 1 GB of storage.

Released on March 9, 2026, it immediately achieved Steam Deck Verified status.

You can complete a run with an entirely different party than you started with, connected only by the knowledge they passed down.
