About
When a greedy real-world megacorp, Ever After Inc., starts turning fairytales into cheap labor, storybook hero Flynt Buckler must team up with his dragon rival to fight back. This satirical adventure RPG blends snappy turn-based combat with a hilarious critique of capitalism, set across genre-bending worlds ranging from noir mysteries to Lovecraftian horrors.
Story
Flynt Buckler invades the headquarters of Ever After Inc. (formerly his rival Tinder's castle) only to find fairytale characters converted into corporate drones. To dismantle the system, Flynt must get hired, climb the corporate ladder, rally disgruntled employees, and navigate twisted narratives where the Three Little Pigs are ruthless real estate developers bulldozing magical forests.
Gameplay
Drawing heavy inspiration from Paper Mario, the gameplay features fast-paced turn-based battles that rely on perfectly timed 'action commands' for offense and defense. Outside of combat, players explore vibrant 2D worlds, solve environmental puzzles, perform office tasks to earn promotions, and customize their party using unique partner skills and badges.
