About

DuneCrawl reimagines naval combat by replacing the ocean with endless dunes and ships with gigantic, cannon-wielding crustaceans. As a Crab Keeper, you must pilot your fortress-like crawler through a seamless open world, balancing frantic ship management with isometric on-foot exploration. Whether solo with an AI companion or in a crew of four, the sandy seas await with loot, danger, and rival factions.

Story

You are a privateer for the Polloi people, tasked with defending your homeland from the territorial conquests of massive clay crawlers and 'jar-head' invaders. In a world described as a 'sicko version of Risk,' factions battle for control over bug-infested islands and trap-filled dungeons. Your journey involves restoring peace to the wasteland, intercepting enemy convoys, and uncovering the secrets of the ancient sands.

Gameplay

Gameplay is split between tactical 'naval' combat and dungeon crawling. Piloting the crawler requires Overcooked-style coordination: steering, manually loading black powder cannons, repairing hull damage, and boarding enemy vessels. On foot, the game shifts to an isometric action-adventure featuring lock-on combat with bows, guns, and bombs, alongside puzzle-solving in deep caverns.
