About
A covert mission to a remote research facility on Ibis Island turns into a nightmare when the SORT team discovers the staff has been slaughtered. Instead of enemy combatants, agents face a prehistoric threat brought back by warped science. This is survival horror evolved.
Story
You play as Regina, a member of the Secret Operation Raid Team (SORT), sent to extract the rogue scientist Dr. Kirk who was presumed dead. Upon arrival at the Third Energy facility, the team discovers that Kirk's experiments have ripped a hole in time, infesting the island with ferocious dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period.
Gameplay
Built on the foundation of classic survival horror, Dino Crisis utilizes 'tank controls' and fixed camera angles but introduces fully 3D environments. Players must manage scarce ammunition, solve complex logic puzzles using the DDK system, and choose between fighting or fleeing from intelligent dinosaur AI that can follow you through rooms.
