About
Voodoo Fishin' is a 1–4 player co-op game that seamlessly blends realistic fishing simulation with terrifying proximity horror. Explore a beautifully spooky bayou as customizable puppet anglers, catching rare fish to sell by the pound to the Fish Monger. But beware—as you venture deeper into the murky waters for legendary catches, you'll have to evade terrifying, swamp-dwelling abominations.
Story
Set in a vast, haunted bayou, you play as Jim Henson-inspired puppet anglers navigating a cursed swamp. While there is minimal explicit lore, the environment tells a chilling story through tactile navigation and lurking horrors. The atmosphere constantly shifts from a cozy fishing trip to a tense fight for survival as ancient, Cthulhu-inspired entities and mossy shroud creatures awaken in the deep.
Gameplay
Experience realistic fishing utilizing top, open, and bottom water techniques with upgradable rods, reels, and bait. Work together using proximity voice chat to locate rare catches and warn each other of approaching monsters. If you die, your hard-earned catch and tackle drop where you perish—but you can bravely return and literally cast a line to reel your lost gear back from the depths.
