Heavy Hearts is an intense, adult-themed action RPG set in a dark, post-apocalyptic world where humanity is nearly extinct. Stepping into the shoes of the resilient heroine Luccia, players must navigate treacherous environments, scavenging and fighting to reverse the decline of the human race. Breaking away from traditional visual novel formats, it delivers a robust experience blending fluid pixel-art combat, stealth, and survival mechanics with mature, deep narrative themes.
Story
In a dangerous world overrun by monstrous factions like orcs, lycans, and drakes, humans have become a rare and highly sought-after commodity. Luccia embarks on a desperate, perilous quest to uncover the true cause of humanity's decline and find a way to repopulate her race. Her journey is fraught with danger as love, lust, and survival constantly intertwine across dark groves and celestial sanctuaries.
Gameplay
Combat centers on a dynamic Active Time Battle (ATB) system optimized for keyboard, where timed blocks enable devastating counterattacks. Normal strikes build an NRG gauge that spawns Combat Orbs, allowing players to unleash tactical abilities and charged magic blasts. Beyond the battlefield, survival requires careful stealth, material scavenging, and strategic trading across expansive, stage-based maps.
