Eternal Threads is a first-person, story-driven puzzle game where you play as an operative tasked with fixing corruption in the timestream. Sent to Northern England in May 2015, your mission is to save six housemates from a fatal house fire—not by stopping the blaze, but by manipulating their choices in the week leading up to it.
Story
Navigating the ghostly echoes of the past within the charred remains of the house, you witness the intimate, interconnected lives of the residents. By altering specific decisions, you create butterfly effects that ripple through the timeline, aiming not just for survival, but for the optimal future where each character finds happiness.
Gameplay
The game abandons traditional linear storytelling for a hexagonal timeline map that grants complete freedom to explore the seven-day narrative in any order.
