About
Big Hops reinvents the 3D platformer by blending fluid parkour with a creative 'veggie sandbox' mechanic. You play as Hop, a friendly frog on a mission to rescue his friends and rebuild an airship by exploring vast, semi-open biomes. Unlike traditional platformers, you don't just follow the path—you grow your own using an arsenal of throwable seeds.
Story
After being abducted by the mischievous spirit Diss, Hop is thrust into an alternate dimension and separated from his family. Teaming up with a resourceful raccoon, he must scour the Red Desert, Open Ocean, and Shattered Mountain for airship parts. Along the way, Hop helps a cast of charming animal characters and uncovers the secrets of this strange new world.
Gameplay
The game combines high-momentum movement—diving, rolling, wall-running, and tongue-swinging—with emergent puzzle solving. Players collect and plant 'veggies' to alter the environment instantly: acorns sprout climbable vines, mushrooms explode into bounce pads, and chili peppers ignite fires. This allows for non-linear traversal where creative players can break the level design to find their own way forward.
